Community. Great Music. Summer Evenings.

Enjoy a Concert on the Common

about our CONCERTS

The summer of 2024 is our twenty-fourth season of Concerts on the Common. This summer we will be hosting eleven free weekly performances, running from June 5 to August 14, featuring quality music in a family friendly environment. Our concert-goers are a wide range of ages, which is wonderful. Last year we had concerts with over 900 attendees, and the average attendance was almost 600. We are delighted to see so many local folks enjoying a fun evening of great music. We are all about community - we would love to have you join us at our concerts!

This summer we will again be starting our summer with the Londonderry High School Jazz Ensembles. After that, we continue with a very special season of returning artists, special guests and new performers…check our schedule page for details!

Our concerts are held on the Londonderry, New Hampshire Town Common at 265 Mammoth Road, which is at the corner of Pillsbury and Mammoth roads (click here for a Google map). Our concerts are held on Wednesday evenings, from 7:00 to 8:30.

We have Kristin’s Kernels for College at every concert, offering popcorn, lemonade and more. Kristin is saving her earnings for college. We have One Happy Clam food truck and we also have Timeless Treats ice cream truck - you won’t go hungry! Oh, and there is a bubble machine for the kids to play with – nothing better! And did we mention that we have a FREE raffle at every concert? You’ll have to attend to find out the prizes - they change weekly.

Here is a video as an introduction to our concerts. It shows photos of the Bruce Marshall Group over the many years they have performed for us, along with photos of the kids playing in bubbles, the audience, the ice cream truck - and more! The outstanding background song is Kalispell by the Bruce Marshall Group. You will also see that the legendary bluesman James Montgomery joined the BMG for one of their performances.

Here is one more video…this one is the fabulous Brian Maes Band featuring Barry Goudreau (former lead guitar of the band Boston). Talk about energy and a tight band!

Weather Policy

We ALWAYS have a scheduled concert. If it is raining/bad weather,  then we move the concert to the Matthew Thornton gym or the Londonderry High School cafeteria (the location can vary from concert to concert, depending on availability, so please check the concert’s details on the schedule page). The schools are just north of the Common on Mammoth Road. Just park in the school’s parking lot and come on in via the school’s front entrance.

Our Sponsors

Also, we are so appreciative of our generous sponsors that are helping to make the concerts possible! They really rock! Please check them out on our Sponsors page. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful community - let's celebrate and support Londonderry!

We can’t wait to see you at the concerts this summer!
